How you can support
HAND IN HAND
We appreciate your interest in the work of HAND IN HAND. You can give support in the form of a sponsorship or co-sponsorship, with a general donation, or a donation for a special project.
Through a sponsorship or co-sponsorship, you help to finance the largest project of HAND IN HAND – the Hariharananda Balashram Residential School. For more information, please click here. The amount and duration of your financial contribution is of course entirely up to you, but we hope that the following information is useful.
Education costs
€ 17 enable the schooling of 1 child for 1 month
€ 204 enable the schooling of 1 child for 1 year
€ 680 finance a school class with 40 pupils for 1 month
€ 8,160 finance a school class with 40 pupils for 1 year
Living costs
€ 50 cover the cost of living of 1 child for 1 month
€ 600 cover the cost of living of 1 child for 1 year
Total cost
€ 67 cover all costs of 1 child for 1 month
€ 804 cover all costs of 1 child for 1 year
A general donation, i.e., without specifying a specific project on your part, gives us the opportunity to use it where it is most needed. In this case, it is helpful if you simply indicate “donation” in the “purpose” field when making the transfer.
If you prefer to dedicate your donation to a specific project, please indicate the name of the project or destination – such as “Balashram” or “Chrysalis” or “Health Centres” or “Disaster Relief”- when you do the bank transfer.
