Centros de Sa\u00fade<\/h2>\n

Os \u201cCentros de Sa\u00fade Beneficientes Hariharananda\u201d (Hariharananda Charitable Health Centres \u2013 HCHC), assim como todos os projetos da HAND IN HAND, s\u00e3o a continua\u00e7\u00e3o do que Paramahamsa Hariharananda, movido por amor e compaix\u00e3o, fundou h\u00e1 d\u00e9cadas. Em 1999\/2000, com o apoio da HAND IN HAND, a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o PRAJNANA MISSION estabeleceu os dois primeiros Centros de Sa\u00fade para a presta\u00e7\u00e3o de atendimento m\u00e9dico gratuito a pessoas que vivem em extrema pobreza. O primeiro HCHC foi estabelecido em Cuttack e o segundo em Puri, em Odisha, um dos estados mais pobres da \u00cdndia.<\/p>\n

Apenas quatro anos ap\u00f3s a inaugura\u00e7\u00e3o dos dois primeiros HCHCs, outro Centro de Sa\u00fade foi estabelecido em Bhisindipur; e, no mesmo ano, em 2004, as primeiras crian\u00e7as foram admitidas na rec\u00e9m-inaugurada Escola Residencial Balashram. Anexo \u00e0 escola, h\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m um Centro de Sa\u00fade, que \u00e9 um dos dois \u201cProjetos de Sa\u00fade da Aldeia\u201d (Village Health Projects \u2013 VHP); ele permanece aberto quatro dias por semana para os moradores das aldeias vizinhas. Um segundo Projeto de Sa\u00fade da Aldeia foi estabelecido em Athagarh, em 2012.<\/p>\n

Os Centros de Sa\u00fade da HCHC inspiram muito empenho, f\u00e9 e alegria nos volunt\u00e1rios que l\u00e1 trabalham. \u201cOs sorrisos nos rostos dos pacientes que receberam ajuda e o seu espanto ao serem curados\u201d \u00e9 como um dos m\u00e9dicos descreveu a sua motiva\u00e7\u00e3o para atuar como volunt\u00e1rio nos Centros de Sa\u00fade Beneficentes. O primeiro Centro de Sa\u00fade no distrito de Cuttack (no Estado de Odisha), em particular, teve um desenvolvimento sem precedentes e \u00e9 agora um Hospital de Dia respeitado e amplamente conhecido na cidade de Jagatpur.<\/p>\n

O n\u00famero de pacientes est\u00e1 crescendo e, felizmente, os servi\u00e7os oferecidos tamb\u00e9m. Os dois Centros de Sa\u00fade passaram a ser quatro, al\u00e9m de um Hospital de Dia, e juntos oferecem uma ampla gama de servi\u00e7os de sa\u00fade \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o menos favorecida de Odisha e Bengala Ocidental.<\/p>\n

O Dr. Ashok Kumar Mohanty, um pioneiro do HCHC, e muitos outros ofereceram seus servi\u00e7os no primeiro Centro de Sa\u00fade em Jagatpur (Cuttack). Balighai (Puri) era particularmente movimentado, diz o Dr. Mohanty: \u201cTodos os m\u00e9dicos sa\u00edam de Puri de manh\u00e3 cedo e retornavam de Balighai tarde da noite. Em apenas duas semanas, hav\u00edamos tratado de 500 a 600 pacientes. HCHC Jagatpur<\/h4>\n

O Centro de Sa\u00fade de Jagatpur, que foi estabelecido em 1999, \u00e9 atualmente um renomado e amplamente conhecido Hospital de Dia que oferece medicina alop\u00e1tica moderna, fisioterapia, exames laboratoriais e exames cl\u00ednicos, bem como uma unidade de emerg\u00eancia. A cl\u00ednica tamb\u00e9m oferece Servi\u00e7os M\u00f3veis M\u00e9dicos e Odontol\u00f3gicos nos Postos de Sa\u00fade, em favelas urbanas e \u00e1reas rurais remotas. Al\u00e9m do tratamento m\u00e9dico tradicional dos sintomas, tamb\u00e9m foram introduzidas medidas preventivas, como a ioga. A ideia \u00e9 ajudar pessoas que vivem na pobreza a se familiarizarem com medidas de sa\u00fade sustent\u00e1veis.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m dos tratamentos m\u00e9dicos gerais, s\u00e3o oferecidos regularmente tratamentos de pele, bem como atendimento odontol\u00f3gico e fisioterapia duas vezes por m\u00eas.<\/p>\n

Este Centro de Sa\u00fade tamb\u00e9m desenvolve programas de promo\u00e7\u00e3o da sa\u00fade, entre os quais est\u00e1 a ioga.<\/p>\n

HCHC in Arua<\/h4>\n

Um pequeno hospital com foco em alopatia e homeopatia existe em Arua desde o ver\u00e3o de 2004, localizado dentro da Escola Residencial Balashram, \u00e0 qual pertence. Como parte do \u201cProjeto de Sa\u00fade da Aldeia\u201d (Village Health Project), o hospital funciona quatro dias por semana desde 2010 para atender pacientes das aldeias vizinhas. Al\u00e9m dos Centros de Sa\u00fade, a Unidade M\u00f3vel de Assist\u00eancia M\u00e9dica e Odontol\u00f3gica (MMDU) est\u00e1 em opera\u00e7\u00e3o desde 2002, deslocando-se em periodicamente \u00e0s \u00e1reas rurais de Odisha de dif\u00edcil acesso. Isso permite que a popula\u00e7\u00e3o dessas \u00e1reas receba atendimento m\u00e9dico e odontol\u00f3gico, bem como participe de campanhas realizadas para conscientizar sobre a import\u00e2ncia da \u201csa\u00fade\u201d e como mant\u00ea-la.<\/p>\n

A MMDU \u00e9 um ve\u00edculo completo e climatizado, composto por dois espa\u00e7os separados: um deles est\u00e1 equipado com uma moderna cadeira de tratamento odontol\u00f3gico, e o outro com um aparelho compacto utilizado para procedimentos cir\u00fargicos simples.<\/p>\n

Doze dessas esta\u00e7\u00f5es m\u00f3veis de emerg\u00eancia foram instaladas em Odisha em 2019, ap\u00f3s a enorme destrui\u00e7\u00e3o causada pelo ciclone \u201cFani\u201d. Esses Postos M\u00e9dicos tamb\u00e9m desempenham um papel importante durante grandes festividades indianas \u2013 como a \u201cRatha Yatra\u201d, o \u201cFestival das Carruagens\u201d, do qual participam centenas de milhares de peregrinos e turistas de todo o mundo.<\/p>\n

Normalmente, a equipe do posto monta uma tenda pr\u00f3xima \u00e0s prociss\u00f5es, onde pessoas doentes ou exaustas podem encontrar abrigo, receber atendimento m\u00e9dico e \u00e1gua pot\u00e1vel, que \u00e9 distribu\u00edda do lado de fora da tenda.<\/p>\n
