\u00dcber<\/strong> Hand in Hand<\/h2>\n

HAND IN HAND ist eine internationale Non-Profit-Organisation f\u00fcr humanit\u00e4re Hilfe mit Sitz in Europa und den USA. Sie wurde von einer Handvoll engagierter Menschen im M\u00e4rz 2000 in Wien gegr\u00fcndet, nachdem ein Super-Zyklon 1999 in Odisha \u2013 einem der \u00e4rmsten Bundesstaaten Indiens \u2013 verheerende Verw\u00fcstungen angerichtet hatte. Die darauffolgende Hungersnot und D\u00fcrre sowie die neuerlichen schweren \u00dcberschwemmungen kaum ein Jahr nach der Sturmkatastrophe machten in extremer Weise deutlich, wie viel getan werden muss, um eine so riesige Not zu lindern. Verst\u00e4ndlich, dass sich die Gr\u00fcnder: innen von HAND IN HAND deshalb die Frage stellten: \u201eIst, was immer wir tun k\u00f6nnen, letztlich doch nur ein Tropfen auf dem hei\u00dfen Stein?\u201c Heute, nach \u00fcber 20 Jahren HAND IN HAND, ist eines aber gewiss: \u201eONE DROP CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE\u201c<\/strong> \u2013 Jeder noch so kleine Beitrag kann einen Unterschied machen \u2013 f\u00fcr alle.<\/p>\n
